We are looking for an exceptional Senior Software Developer who is passionate about

security and design and can excel in a fast-paced environment where both individual drive

and team collaboration are crucial for success. This is a hands-on technical role that focuses

on security across all of Apple.

As a member of the Apple Information Security (AIS) team, youʼll be at the forefront of

developing cutting-edge services and applying interactive intelligence to identify and mitigate

security risks. This isnʼt just any technical role; itʼs an opportunity to make a significant impact

on the global security landscape. Youʼll be responsible for identifying problems, developing a

vision for how to address them, and uniting relevant business owners to achieve that vision.

Description

We are looking for a software developer to work on innovative technologies used throughout

Apple. This is a phenomenal opportunity for a candidate seeking to learn, influence, and help

develop and design security technologies, applications, and processes that secure Apple

products and services. As part of the software team you will have the opportunity to:

  • Partner with teams across Apple to prioritize and build the product roadmap
  • Advocate for your solutions and secure buy-in
  • Work to develop beautiful and functional frontends
  • Continue to research, drive, and develop solutions
  • Leverage AI and ML technologies to enhance our security solutions
  • Build strong relationships to effectively communicate secure solution designs and

benefits to developers

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable distributed or cloud-
  • based business systems
  • Experience in designing frontends using Tailwind CSS
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a focus on the user experience
  • Experience leading complex projects with cross-f
  • unctional technical and business collaborators
  • Experience with a modern object-oriented language such as Ruby, Python, Go, Java,Javascript, Swift, or Objective-C

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 years of experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable distributed or cloud-
  • based business systems
  • 4 years of experience in designing frontends using Tailwind CSS
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a focus on the user experience
  • Experience leading complex projects with cross-functional technical and business collaborators
  • 7 years of experience with a modern object-oriented language such as Ruby, Python, Go, Java,
  • Javascript, Swift, or Objective-C
  • 7 years of experience with one or more web frameworks such as Rails, Django, Spring, ReactJS
  • Experience mentoring other software engineers
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
  • Experience writing automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests, and using
  • continuous integrationsystems
  • Comfort with macOS, Linux, or other Unix-based operating systems

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
