As a part of our Home, Health, and Wearables Legal Group, you will support the development and launch of Apple’s innovative products, collaborating with engineering, marketing, operations, and regulatory teams to bring cutting-edge products and features to users worldwide.
Description
You will join a team of attorneys in the Home, Health, and Wearables Legal Group who support global business partners across Apple that are developing technologies, products, and features. You will help formulate legal and regulatory strategies and advise on and provide novel solutions to assess and mitigate risks presented by the development of innovative technologies and unique product categories. You will draft and negotiate a variety of proposals and agreements to facilitate the design, development, and distribution of Apple’s products. You will also collaborate with other legal groups and advise engineering, marketing, operations, and regulatory teams on legal matters related to features and products, including product development, compliance, marketing, and partnerships.
Minimum Qualifications
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $230,500 and $346,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Minimum Qualifications
- 8 years of legal experience at a company, law firm, or government
- Experience with product counseling, consumer law, and product regulatory issues
- Experience drafting and negotiating technology licensing/development and commercial agreements
- JD or equivalent and admission to at least one state bar
- Adept at navigating and resolving complex legal issues in creative and effective ways while displaying business insight and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle a wide range of matters supporting multiple cross-functional teams
- Ability to distill nuanced legal concepts into clear and concise practical guidance for non-lawyers
- Positive and collaborative attitude
- Ability to advise executive management, and facilitate teamwork by cultivating relationships, counseling, collaborating, and effectively communicating with teammates and cross-functional partners
- Ability to see beyond the immediate questions asked to larger issues and implications
