Scheduling Manager

We’re looking for a highly organized and forward-thinking Scheduling Manager to lead and manage daily scheduling for multiple field crews and projects for our client in Johnson County. This key role ensures the operations run efficiently by aligning with client needs, project requirements, and crew availability. The right candidate will be a strong communicator, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee daily scheduling for multiple crews across various projects
• Respond promptly and professionally to client and internal inquiries via phone and email
• Proactively initiate outbound communication to coordinate project schedules
• Create and maintain a detailed daily schedule considering:
  • Scope and complexity of projects
  • Jobsite locations
  • Customer preferences
  • Crew skillsets and availability
• Manage and update a rolling 7-day schedule, including night shifts
• Coordinate subcontractor timelines based on project needs
• Organize and prepare daily job packets and paperwork for field teams
• Keep accurate records and filing systems for all assigned projects
• Develop a solid understanding of the company’s services and how to read new construction blueprints
• Reach out to clients to plan upcoming work proactively
• Participate in bi-weekly staff meetings, contributing insights on scheduling and resource planning

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience in scheduling, logistics, or operations coordination (preferred)
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Keen attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Familiarity with construction processes and blueprints is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Ability to stay focused and productive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
