Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide professional, friendly assistance in-store
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, dishwashers, etc.)
- Explain product features, specifications, pricing, warranties, and financing options
- Close sales and accurately process orders, payments, and invoices
- Coordinate delivery, pickup, and installation scheduling
- Maintain product displays, pricing labels, and showroom cleanliness
- Assist with inventory checks and reporting low or fast-moving stock
- Handle customer questions, concerns, and basic after-sales support
- Follow company sales procedures, promotions, and compliance policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred (appliance or furniture sales a plus)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math and computer/POS system skills
- Ability to learn technical product information quickly
- Comfortable lifting or moving appliances
