Appling Healthcare in Baxley, GA, is looking for a PRN Radiology Tech to join the amazing team at our hospital.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs radiographic X-rays and assists the radiologist with fluoroscopy and other special procedures as required.
- Maintains and cares for equipment and supplies used in each specialty area of the department.
- Maintains X-ray equipment to include periodic cleaning and general preventative maintenance schedules.
- Uses the c-arm and portable equipment in a safe, effective manner, without supervision, and without doing harm to the patient.
- Demonstrates knowledge and responsibility for the effective and safe use of all equipment in his/her activities.
- Demonstrates a consistent level of performance and strives to maintain a steady level of productivity.
- Must have the flexibility to be cross-trained into other areas such as ultrasound, CT and to take calls and work overtime as needed. Works the shift that is assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current license in the State of Georgia as a Radiology Technologist by the ARRT or registry eligible.
- Ability and willingness to cross-train into various Radiology related modalities.
- Certified by the ARRT in Radiology
- Trained in CT (preferred, but will train)
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
