Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist in the Moses Lake area and surrounding areas
APPS Paramedical is one of the largest paramedical companies in the United States, offering nationwide coverage as we complete insurance physicals for people applying for life, health, or disability insurance products. We also complete clinical draws.
The Eastern Washington office for APPS is looking for quality medical professionals to help us complete these exams in a timely, professional manner. Bilingual Applicants are encouraged.
Position: Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist
Job Summary:
Our independent contractors are self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision as they complete quality exams while using their medical know-how.
- These exams are done on a mobile basis in the client’s home or office and MAY include blood draws, urine samples, medical histories, signatures on packets, vital signs, saliva samples, and 12 lead EKGs.
- Independent Contractor needs to be committed to following all compliance and safety policies. Including OSHA and HIPPA guidelines.
- Depending on the exam requirements, an exam can last anywhere from 20-60 minutes. Independent contractors are paid per appointment.
Hours:
- Set your own schedule! We offer exams 7 days a week and 52 weeks of the year.
- Most of our contractors have full-time jobs and use this as an opportunity to make even more money each month.
- We assist in scheduling your appointments. This way you get to focus more on what you do best…medical exams!
Job Details:
- Reimbursement: Our pay dates are the 10th and 25th of every month. We pay 1 month in the rear. For example: Any appointment completed the 1st-15th of the previous month will be paid on the 10th of the following month. Any appointment completed the 16th-the end of the month, will be paid on the 25th of the following month.
- Territory: a 30-40 mile radius from your home.
- Orientation: We provide a 3-4 hour in-person orientation to show you sample paperwork and the website used by our Independent contractors. As well as getting your first set of supplies and check out any equipment you might need.
- Equipment: Use of your own equipment is recommended but we do have rental equipment available if needed. The following is needed to contract:
- 2 Manual BP cuffs (Regular & Large)
- Stethoscope
- Tape Message – Soft(fabric) & Metal
- Printer/paper/ink
- Scale
- 1 box of gloves
- 1 box of alcohol swabs
- 1 box band aids or Coban
- 1 box of gauze.
- Centrifuge (can be rented)
- Tablet with 9 in screen or larger (can be rented)
- EKG (can be rented)
Qualifications:
- Actively practicing phlebotomy with a Minimum of 1 year of work experience.
- Trained in manual blood pressure and pulse collection.
- Familiarity with tablets/computers.
- EKG experience is preferred but not required.
- Reliable vehicle with a valid state driver's license and liability insurance.

Education preferred: High school diploma or equivalency. State certification in phlebotomy or medical assistant is required. (For Washington independent contractors)
