Salary: $105,000 to $110,000
Project Details (Size, SOW, Site Background, etc.):
Project and Construction Project Management (PM/CM ) services to the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) VISN 21 Facilities Engineering Project Managers and VISN Contracting Staff at all VISN 21 facilities for selected DVA projects. The Contractor shall manage, monitor, and oversee project progress and completion. The proposed PM/CM acquisition will provide comprehensive, professional, and competent project management for reviewing, logging, monitoring, and archiving construction submittals, Requests for Information (RFI s), and other communications with all parties in the pre-solicitation, design, and construction process. The contractor shall also provide comprehensive, professional and competent engineers and like professionals necessary to generate Request for Quotes documents, performs studies and evaluations and predesign development activities in support of the facility s Engineering and Facility Management functions.
Daily Responsibilities:
PM/CM will be a part of a team of professionals and act as the Owner's Representative role on these programs from design through construction and closeout. PM/CM will be required to learn and integrate our companys best practices related to project delivery, budget, schedule, quality and operations in the healthcare environment. PM/CM will act as an advisor/liaison with the client (user groups, design team, contractors, and facility engineering representatives). The CM services will be used to support traditional Design-Bid-Build and Design/Build contracts. A summary of the major tasks is below. - Establishing temporary field offices
- Monitoring project financial data and budgetary cost accounting

- Performing additional construction-related services
- Claims Analysis and Resolution Services
Required Qualifications (Experience, Education, Certifications, Clearances, etc.):
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in both design and construction
- Bachelor of Engineering from an accredited school of higher education.
- Able to quickly understand and master Requirements of local state and federal jurisdictions in relation to the Project Construction Contract Documents including Front End and Technical Specifications and Drawings to readily understand and assess the requirements
- Working knowledge of engineering services, building codes, budgeting and scheduling to lead to the projects success
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Federal projects
- Licensed engineer (PE or EIT)
- CCM, PMP certifications
