The Banquet Server is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests throughout dinners and special events.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
- Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.
- Relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen staff.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
- Closely monitor guests and anticipate their needs.
- Be aware of guest’s allergies and relay them to the appropriate person.
- Ensure menu knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to balance trays with multiple plates of food and drinks.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous server experience is preferred.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking around the restaurant area.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to hazards including but not limited to; hot plates and other dinnerware and frequent contact with sharp objects.
