Opportunity:
Operators drive, control, and maintain heavy equipment and other necessary machinery in a safe, efficient manner. Operators will work in a fast-paced environment. Safety is a top priority for Operators and must have knowledge of safe operation and driving practices to complete obligations. Operators report directly to the Foreman/Superintendent. Woman are encouraged to apply.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Excavating trenches and structures, laying pipe and precast concrete structures, loading trucks and backfilling trenches.
- Placing shoring and trench boxes.
- Operates a crawler machine mounted with an excavator bucket.
- May also be equipped with various hydraulic attachments (e.g. hammers, pipe vacuum)
- Performs daily inspection paperwork daily and notifies the Foreman/Supervisor of any issues/defects.
- May assist the crew, when needed, in operating other equipment and/or helping the laborers on the ground.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Position requires 8 hour work days 6 days a week.
- Supervisor contact is subject to the company organizational chart and or directed by the CEO.
- Employee travel, travel time, and expense is at employee responsibility, unless directed by the CEO in writing.
CERTIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 1C-2A Hoisting License (at least)
- DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Valid Drivers License
- OSHA 10
- Safety Certificatio

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
