Aquatics Manager Job Description:

- Implement and maintain Aqua-Tots teaching curriculum
- Onboard and train new aquatic team members
- Supervise swim instructors
- Uphold quality and consistency of Aqua-Tots swim lessons
- Attend and lead monthly all staff meetings
- Set and achieve goals with the General Manager
- Lead and manage the swim instruction staff and Water Safety Program
- Aquatic scheduling
- Conduct aquatic training and performance evaluations
- Oversee aquatic customer service needs
- Coordinate and manage pool operations - implementing local Public Health Department standards/guidelines

Aquatics Manager Qualifications:
Required:
- Flexible schedule – candidates must have availability to work weekdays and weekends
- 1-2 years of business management experience
- Maintain a CURRENT AT-WSI Certification within Aqua-Tots Swim Schools (following employment)
- Have intermediate level computer skills using Word, Excel, and other software systems
- Must pass a background check
Preferred:
- Relates well to children, parents, team members, and have superior communication skills
- Previous swim instruction, lifeguard, aquatics, or swim coach experience
- Experience working with children (sports coach, camp counselor, teacher, educator, or similar experience)
- Maintain a current National Lifeguard Service (NLS) certification and Standard First Aid with CPR-C, AED (following employment)
