About the Role:
Aquacare Physical Therapy & Fitness Forum is looking for a motivated and compassionate Exercise Specialist to join our dynamic clinical team! In this hands-on role, you’ll assist patients in completing individualized exercise programs under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You’ll play a key role in helping patients regain mobility, function, and confidence through safe and effective therapeutic movement.

Key Responsibilities:
Guide and assist patients with their prescribed exercise program, under the direction of a physical therapist.
Demonstrate exercises safely and clearly to patients.
Support daily clinic operations by maintaining a clean and organized treatment environment.
Welcome and assist patients with paperwork and outcome measures.
Schedule appointments to optimize both patient flow and provider efficiency.
Collect copayments and provide administrative support as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service and redirect clinical questions to appropriate staff when necessary.
- Pitch in where needed to support team success.

Skills & Qualifications:
Knowledge of exercise science and foundational fitness principles.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Familiarity with healthcare/medical office practices and terminology.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office & Google Sheets).
Customer-focused mindset with a passion for health and wellness.
Education & Experience:
Experience working in a physical therapy or healthcare setting preferred.
Educational background in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, or a related field preferred.
CPR certification a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with patient mobility as needed.
Extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
Occasional desk/computer work.
