Lead The Day-to-day Construction Activities With The Following
- Oversee the construction activities and security of each home
- Use Quality Control checklist to confirm progress made and the quality of work that was done the day prior.
- Ensure job readiness for the next trade.
- Responsible for keeping houses, garages, lots, and common areas clean by setting expectations with subcontractors and consistently holding them accountable
- Daily vigilance of Trade Partner accountability to the schedule
- Under the Construction Manager’s guidance take on process improvement efforts for the betterment of the company and division.
- Participate in leadership improvement training as provided locally and regionally.
- Perform preconstruction and pre-drywall meetings with each buyer as outlined by the building schedule.
- Maintain weekly proactive customer communication
- Maintain and oversee safe work environment
- Cross functional communication with purchasing, estimating, drafting toward process improvement efforts.
- A positive mental approach with a “can do” spirit
- Problem ownership and problem-solving approach
- Ability Plan, organize and lead a field operations team.
- Ability to understand a quality, timely build that ends with a signed off home and happy homeowner.
- Communication and follow up.
- Sense of urgency and proactiveness.
- Ability to train and develop others.
