Arbors Management Inc. is looking to hire a skilled Home Repair Specialist to work on a variety of projects in single family homes and small apartment complexes. Projects range from small repairs (plumbing, electrical, drywall) to full remodels (kitchens, baths, living rooms), building decks, outside improvements and more. Each project will be different and will require various building maintenance and repair skills.
Objectives of the Home Repair Specialist will include:
- Completing jobs in the allotted time frame while providing the highest quality of work
- Communicating to the Supervisor about the progress of jobs and any arising issues
- Providing excellent customer service to owners and residents of the properties
- Work with the supervisor for scheduling on larger jobs
Requirements to be successful as the Home Repair Specialist:
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting and carpentry
- Ability to lift 60 lbs regularly and to otherwise move about to handle various maintenance related tasks
- Reliable transportation with a work truck or van (vehicle reimbursement included) and tools (some tools will be provided). Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Able to pass pre-employment drug and background screening
The Home Repair Specialist position includes a generous benefits package, vehicle reimbursement and cell phone reimbursement. Hours will vary but will typically be Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (no on-call).
