Role description:
Arcadis is seeking an experienced Senior Wastewater Engineer to join our Resilience Water team in Buffalo, NY. We are looking for an individual with 10 years of process mechanical experience, who will play a pivotal role in supporting Water Treatment Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant studies, design, and construction administration delivery.
Role accountabilities:

Role accountabilities:
As a Senior Wastewater Engineer, you will leverage your drinking water, wastewater, and/or process mechanical experience to move projects quickly through design and construction. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Developing design documentation as part of a team of skilled engineers for various WTP and WWTP projects
- Leading the development of project schedules, creating bid packages and/or opinion of probable construction cost estimates.
- Reviewing or performing detailed engineering calculations & analysis.
- Coordinating with building design disciplines and CADD/BIM designers to complete evaluations and designs.
- Ensuring project compliance and maintaining Owner’s (and Arcadis’) standards and specifications for quality and safety on all design & construction projects.
- Completing other duties, as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field
- 10 years of related engineering experience
- Must have Project/Task Management experience with process mechanical equipment and projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Master's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineering license
- Municipal Water / Wastewater design and construction management experience
