Robotic Vehicle Upfit Technician

Job Description
The Robotic Vehicle Upfit Technician is responsible for the assembly and upfit of vehicles. This position is hands-on and practical, utilizing electrical and mechanical assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Wire and install electrical components such as sensors, cameras, and control systems onto vehicles.
• Other duties and projects, as assigned.
• Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense, yet rewarding, environment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
• Identify and resolve basic technical issues during the assembly process, collaborating with the technical support team when necessary.
• Assemble and upfit vehicles with varying degrees of technology, following established procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, configurations, and any modifications made to the vehicles.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide feedback on assembly processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure that each vehicle meets the specified standards for safety, functionality, and aesthetics.
• Perform mechanical installations, including mounting and securing equipment to vehicles, and ensuring proper alignment and functionality.

Requirements
Education:

• High School Diploma / GED, required

Experience:

• 3 years Electrical and mechanical assembly, preferred

Computer Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, required

Other Details
Work Hours:

• Generally 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.

Compensation:

• This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
