This is a full-time, hourly position.

Position Summary:
This key operational role is responsible for daily production at a 28,500 cwt/day wheat flour mill.  The ideal candidate maintains ADM’s high standards for Safety and Quality while maintaining production and efficiency excellence. They will have the ability to identify and decisively solve problems as they arise and maintain records in accordance with established ADM policies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists the shift miller in overseeing equipment operations of three different milling units.
• Makes good rounds of the facility in order to limit downtime due to process upsets.
• Helps in managing flour inventory and ensure that information is accurate.

Health, Safety & Environmental:

• Facilitate and ensure adherence to safety regulations, rules and sound practices.
• Ensure that unsafe behavior and conditions are corrected.
• Engage in the safety culture and set the example for safety. 

Production:

• Assists the shift miller in overseeing equipment operations of three different milling units.
• Maintains records in accordance with established ADM policies and procedures
• Proactively seeks and supports the plant goals and vision in accordance with ADM Milling’s strategic vision
• Bases all decisions, perform acts and personify self in the best interest on the company
• Proactively support operational excellence initiatives.
• Continually train and develop operational team members. 

Sanitation/Food Safety:

• Ensure the facility maintains world class sanitation standards by making sure areas are clean and clear by the end of your shift.
• Prepare the facility for regulatory/third party/customer/company audits.

Required Skills:

• Must have a strong commitment to employee safety

• Must have confident and courteous manner.
• Must be able to hear and speak clearly, read, comprehend and communicate orally and in writing.
• Position requires standing and walking for long periods, climbing stairs and ladders, working with tools, working within close-confined spaces, and working within extreme temperatures.
• Ability to stand and walk continuously for 8 hours if necessary
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds/23 kilograms
• Must have reliable transportation to work including on 2nd and 3rd shift
