Summary
This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Library Buildings and Grounds, Assistant Superintendent Tenant Services Division. The incumbent serves as the Wood Crafter (CNC) Assistant Supervisor & shares responsibility with the Wood Crafter (CNC) Supervisor for assigning, directing & reviewing the work of subordinates; evaluating their work performance, planning, scheduling and coordinating work operations; Solving problems related to the work performed by Section employees.

SCREEN-OUT: Ability to perform the work of the position without more than normal supervision. WS-10: Supervises workers directly or through subordinate leaders in accomplishing the CNC wood crafting signage responsibilities of the Section. Determines the sequence, priority and time for the performance of particular operations within the limits of broader work schedules and time limits; and exercises administrative and technical authority Plans the usage of workers, equipment, facilities, materials and tools on a day-to-day or project-by-project basis; adheres to work priorities, project schedules, resources and detailed work plans established by higher level supervisors; follows customary work cycles and sequences in planning work assignments; Tracks and reports progress on work assignments and requests authority to adjust work assignments and to use overtime, equipment and materials to meet schedules; and recommends changes to schedules, priorities and work sequences as necessary and makes minor deviations in procedures or redirects resources to overcome problems such as equipment failure, material delays or unplanned absences.
