JOB DUTIES

- Be the showroom ambassador
First Impressions
- Smile, greet and engage clients timely and with curiosity and empathy
- Ensure clients are comfortable and welcomed, including offering a beverage
- Ask preliminary questions about the client and their project, as per company standards, to ensure you match them with the appropriate Sales & Design Consultant
- Distributes walk-in clients to Sales & Design Consultants per company guidelines
- Hand out marketing material when applicable
- At the end of a visit, sincerely thank the clients for visiting our showroom
Salesforce
- Keep a daily log of all client walk-ins, matching with the Daily Sign-In Report to ensure all client traffic is being logged in Salesforce
- Assist Sales & Design Consultants with Lead & Opportunity creation each day, as needed
- Ensure all leads are converted or closed by the end of the day
6 Deliverables
- Responsible for managing the Daily Deliverables Report in Salesforce, checking it mid-day and at the end of the day to ensure Sales & Design Consultants are inputting the correct client data into Salesforce
Sales Support
- Complete daily check-ins with Sales & Design Consultants after every visit, or at a minimum 3x / day (morning, mid-day, end of the day) to review actions needed
- Be proactive with scheduling and hosting all Project Follow Up “Pendings” meetings with Sales & Design Consultants on a set weekly schedule
- Confirm each week during the Project Follow Up Meeting that all Salesforce Opportunities are up to date per company standards
- Send out control samples to vendors when applicable
- Help to audit and process orders when needed
- Communicates with clients on behalf of the Sales & Design Consultants via Email, phone and in-person
- Conduct price checks and stock inventory checks
- Receive sample orders for clients and give to appropriate Sales & Design Consultant to follow-up with client
- Schedule client appointments for Sales & Design Consultants, both in-person and virtual and call clients beforehand with an appointment reminder
- Create and process sample checkouts and returns via Salesforce
Showroom Needs
- Responsible for Opening / Closing the showroom according to company standards
- Ensure the Daily Huddle takes place on time and with all staff in attendance
- Check showroom general voicemail and return calls within 2 hours
- Maintain showroom appearance by ensuring tile samples are put away, glass cleaned, restrooms are in order and beverage area is clean and stocked for clients
- Be proactive with any maintenance needs, contacting the proper manager and / or companies when something is needing attention
- Order showroom supplies from the company-approved vendor(s)
- Send special Thank You items to clients or vendors (flowers, cookies, etc.) as needed
- Schedules Courier service when applicable on behalf of the Sales & Design Consultants
- Help create attractive and relevant tile groupings / displays in the showroom windows or display cabinets, if applicable
REPORTS GENERATED & FREQUENCY OF USE
- Sales Order Recap Report, generated daily via Salesforce at end of day
- Daily Sign-In Report, generated 2-3x daily via Salesforce
- 6 Deliverable Report, generated 2-3x daily via Salesforce
- Credit Card Detail Report & Settlement Report, both generated daily via credit card terminal at end of day
- Daily Sales Report, generated each day and delivered to you via email
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Showroom staff meeting or exceeding Monthly Sales Goals as provided on the Daily Sales Report
- Sales Orders entered into Salesforce accurately, meeting company guidelines for margin
- High client retention and new Accounts created each quarter
- Maintains a positive and inviting attitude with clients and co-workers
- All clients logged into Salesforce and information recorded accurately
- Walk-ins distributed as per guidelines
- Sign-In Reports completed accurately and daily
- Sales & Design Consultants weekly Project Follow Up Meetings are being held weekly, thoroughly on-time
- Daily Huddles are taking place per company guidelines
- Showroom sample checkouts are being recorded accurately in Salesforce
- Develops a rapport with major accounts
