Job PurposeWe are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Signage Detailer/Designer to support and help drive the AD/S brand. This role works collaboratively within a team of designers to develop conceptual, permit, and production drawings for clients nationwide. Projects include, but are not limited to, commercial pylon and monument signage, wayfinding programs, and other custom signage solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop clear, creative conceptual drawings based on client requirements and hand sketchesTranslate conceptual designs into accurate technical drawingsProduce complete permit drawing sets for city and municipal planning approval, including required forms, schedules, and detailsDevelop detailed production drawing sets for in-house manufacturingSupport the Design Department on large-scale signage programs and multi-site projectsCollaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure design intent and production feasibilityMaintain customer confidence by handling proprietary and confidential information appropriatelyProvide design expertise and problem-solving solutions to customersDeliver high-quality customer service with attention to accuracy and timelinesSkills & QualificationsRequired: Proficiency in CorelDRAW (X6 or newer)Preferred: Experience with SolidWorksStrong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlinesAbility to develop conceptual drawings from hand sketchesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilityPositive attitude with persistence and a high level of integrityAbility to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environmentProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)Strong hand-drawing skills for design development and conceptual designWorking knowledge of SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe IllustratorFamiliarity with AutoCADKnowledge of industrial design and signage design principlesExcellent visualization skillsAbility to read and interpret architectural and technical drawingsStrong understanding of layouts, dimensioning, and technical detailingEducation, Training & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience3–5 years of relevant professional design experienceExperience in signage, engineering, or construction industries is a plusBenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and life insuranceVacation and sick pay plus a floating holidayPaid holidays401(k) with company matching after qualifying period Referral bonus programEmployee discountsAdditional InformationThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
