Pay Rate: $22 to $24 per hour

Archon Protection, Inc., is seeking a motivated and dependable Security Assistant Supervisor to join our growing leadership team in Ventura County. This is a hands-on, field-based role that supports the Security Supervisor and Management team in maintaining operational excellence, team development, and client satisfaction across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with the oversight of security operations and compliance with post orders
• Support the training and onboarding of new security personnel
• Conduct site visits to observe, coach, and support officers in the field
• Document observations and communicate findings to supervisory staff
• Provide coverage for shifts as needed and assist with scheduling coordination
• Help maintain strong officer morale and team cohesion
• Serve as an initial point of contact for field officers with routine issues or questions
• Support investigations into incidents and assist with basic disciplinary documentation
• Respond to incidents or emergencies and escalate to the Supervisor or Management as appropriate
• Maintain communication through reports, emails, calls, and chat platforms
  
  

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old (per BPC Section 7582.8)
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid California Guard Card issued by BSIS (or willing to obtain)
• Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background check
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Physically able to walk or stand for extended periods
• Available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Professional demeanor, punctuality, and attention to detail
  
  

Position Requirements

• Active California Guard Card required
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable security experience (some leadership or site responsibility preferred)
• Availability to work full-time graveyard shifts, including weekends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Basic computer literacy and ability to type at least 35 WPM (typing test required during interview)
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Lead Officer, Assistant Supervisor, or Training Officer
• Familiarity with BSIS regulations and security protocols
• Ability to motivate and support team members in a fast-paced environment
