Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled GP Locum to join our urgent care team in Aberdeen, NC.
About the Role:
- High-volume urgent care setting with autonomy as sole provider
- Multiple locations available within a 65-mile radius of provider s residence
- Epic EMR with modified onboarding and training support
Clinical Details:
- Outpatient urgent care setting
- Up to 40 patients per day
- Patient age: 6 months and up
- Case types: adults and pediatrics, acute care
- Procedures: I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, minor procedures
Requirements:
- Board certified PA or NP (Family Nurse Practitioner required for NPs)
- Active NC license
- At least 12 months of urgent care or acute care experience
- BLS certification
- Proficient with Epic EMR
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Skills Needed:
- Independent urgent care management of pediatric and adult patients
- Performance of basic procedures including I&D, suturing, and laceration repair
- EMR documentation using Epic
- Ability to manage clinic flow as sole provider
Salary : $120,000 - $200,000
