Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity

Join our team at Fairmont, Minnesota as an Internal Medicine Physician to provide high-quality patient care in a clinic-based setting.

Typical clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. You will be responsible for providing primary care to adults with multiple medical conditions or undefined symptoms.

Our patient population is diverse, with many patients over the age of 90 who live independently or reside in nursing homes/assisted care facilities.

Expect to manage complex patient cases with multiple comorbidities and complexities.

The services provided in the clinic include:

• Preventative medicine screening care such as mammograms, pap smears, routine colon cancer screening evaluations, cholesterol screening, blood pressure screening, etc.
• Care for patients with undefined symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, abdominal pain, back pain, etc.
• Management of multiple medications.
• Care for patients with chronic medical illnesses such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, emphysema, etc.
• Pre-operative evaluations.
• Medical students and APPs in training rotate through the outpatient clinic setting.
• After-hours call is covered by the expert RN triage phone line.

Qualifications include:

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Minnesota license.
