- Operate equipment with competency and caution and adhere to company and federal safety procedures and requirements
- Safely and efficiently operate excavator to process (with hydraulic or mechanical processor) concrete rubble to reduced material size to feed crusher while also removing long and loose rebar or other debris not suitable to feed plant
- Communicate on regular and continuous basis with field supervisor regarding assigned work to accomplish and specific instructions.
- Work in a successful and positive team environment
- Use hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, screwdriver, sledgehammer, and others as needed to accomplish daily tasks to maintain and/or repair equipment.
- Perform scheduled maintenance as required on plant or mobile equipment
- Inspect equipment daily prior to operation; notify supervisor of any deficiencies or repairs needed prior to use
- Maintain housekeeping of work site including trash pickup, keeping tools in order, proper storage of equipment at end of workday.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
- This is a stationary position with limited travel.
- Some experience required
- Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance Monday thru Saturday
- Positive, Team-based attitude
- Must be 18 years of age
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Able to stand for extended periods of time at conveyor belt operation.
- Able to climb heights of 20 feet on a regular basis
- Able to lift, carry, and/or pull 100 pounds on a regular basis
- Able to work in dusty, loud noise environment
- Required to wear safety equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, goggles, steel toed boots, ear plugs, respirator, gloves and various other similar items as required.
