Job Summary
- Expectations of the position
As an Assembler at Trinity Industries, you’ll assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components subassemblies, assemblies, and complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment. The Assembler will also fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements, and repair units or products that have failed to meet requirements.

6:00 am to 2:30 pm, M-F, Plus O/T
Requires Saturday O/T When Needed
Qualifications and Skills
- Hard skills
- Experience: Up to 1 Year
- Certifications: Applicable Torque Certification from Arcosa
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of hand tools and hardware (i.e. bolts & nuts), ability to read and follow written instructions, electrical wiring experience and the ability to match-up sub-assembly to the final product
- Education: High School Diploma or GED

Duties and Responsibilities
- Core Responsibilities
- Insert and/or attach sub-assemblies with appropriate hardware
- Attach complex sub-assemblies and/or parts with appropriate hardware
- Apply appropriate torque sequence and values
- Read and follow complex instructions
- Operate mobile equipment
- Maintain attendance within acceptable standards.
- Safety Activities
- Be aware of and observe all safety practices.
- Know and follow all safety rules and procedures.
- Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.
