Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our moving company team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and ensuring a smooth relocation process for our clients. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as dump trucks, tankers, and vans during the moving process.
• Safely load and unload items from vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Drive vehicles with manual transmissions and ensure compliance with all traffic regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to efficiently plan and execute moving operations.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients throughout the moving process.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and equipment used.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a delivery driver or van driver is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Ability to operate various types of vehicles, including buses and dump trucks.
• Strong physical stamina to handle manual labor tasks associated with moving.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
