Job Requirements

  • Able to troubleshoot electrical faults in newly assembled products and fix them using provided schematics.
  • Experience with building, troubleshooting, and correcting mechanical assemblies controlled by electronics.
  • Desire to work with complex robotic products.
  • Assemble electronic devices and products.
  • Assemble interconnect cables.
  • Assemble other products as assigned.
  • Utilize engineering drawings, electrical schematics, BOM’s and other documents as required.
  • Troubleshoot finished products and assemblies.
  • Accurately account for materials per processes and procedures.
  • Log time into the computer.
  • Inspect parts for surface defects.

Required Skills:

  • Be able to read and understand blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Must have a good knowledge of basic hand tool and the ability to use them.
  • Be able to use small power tools (drills, Dremel, drill press, etc.).
  • Be able read and understand Digital Volt Meters.
  • Be able to use and understand how to use Test Equipment (Oscilloscope, Hi-Pot, Vector scope, etc.).
  • Be able to solder through hole and surface mount circuit boards.
  • Be able to read, understand and communicate the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Be able to troubleshoot electronic devices.

Required Experience and Education:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 year of electronic technology or 5 years of field experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years’ experience in electronic assembly.
  • Able to troubleshoot down to component level.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to move about the department freely.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
