WHAT ARE THE HOURS?

The typical schedule consists of four 10-hour days.


WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

As a Mechanical Engineer, you're the driving force behind safe and efficient overhauls, mechanical maintenance repairs, and performance design changes for steam and gas turbines, boilers, along with major rotating equipment. Your expertise extends to providing invaluable mechanical engineering support to plant operations, maintenance, and planning staff. You lead plant betterment and capital projects, ensuring optimal functionality.

Your daily tasks include managing corrections to turbine, boiler and rotating equipment issues, offering mechanical and engineering insight for design enhancements, and overseeing overhauls and maintenance. With a keen understanding of improving turbine and/or boiler performance and reducing operational costs, you contribute to the success of the organization. Your responsibilities also include developing cost/benefit analyses, evaluating proposals, and adeptly managing contracts and construction processes. Your skills make a lasting impact on the efficiency and performance of crucial plant operations!


IS THIS THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY?

  • Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering
  • 2 years of experience in mechanical and power station engineering, boiler maintenance, turbine maintenance, overhaul supervision, and turbine and boiler inspection
