What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Support Assistant III (Lunar and Planetary Laboratory) position at arizona?
- With minimal supervision, prepare P-Card purchases and purchase orders ensuring all documents are submitted in a timely fashion according to deadlines and processes. May be required to obtain bids for complex scientific equipment on federal funded grants and contracts.
- Under minimal supervision, make travel arrangements and prepare reimbursements for 30-40 members of large scientific teams. Travel includes destinations to foreign countries in isolated areas for field research. Travel may include request for policy exceptions.
- Coordinates and plans science team meetings with local and national participation. Arranges for meeting space, AV equipment, food, lodging, and related logistics.
- Responsible for coordinating and scheduling calendars of multiple faculty, including zoom meetings and in person. Provides AV support as required. Orders refreshments, set up/take down of meetings.
- Assists with tracking inventory, including federal/university assets.

- Excellent knowledge of administrative procedures and policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient using Zoom and other applications.
- Detail oriented, able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
