- Supervise team and program activities in the South Phoenix area. This includes:
*Supervising daily activities for 3 or 4 subordinates.
*Coordinating and collaborate with leadership team.
*Conducting community engagement in order to create a community-led work plan.
*Overseeing the implementation of program strategies and interventions (grant approved Work Plan).
*Networking and developing partnerships with local community members, organizations and other stakeholders.
*Attending and leading program meetings related to the South Phoenix community.
*Creating written reports. - Lead Childhood Systems team, which works in Schools, after school programs and some Early Childcare sites. This includes:
*Offering guidance, trainings and updates.
*Attending and leading program meetings related to Childhood Systems. - Work with community members, organizations, business and other collaborators to implement specific strategies in the area of Childhood Systems. This includes:
*Development, implementation and evaluation of policies in schools, after school programs and some early care sites.
*Supporting improvements in nutrition and physical activity practices.
*Establishing wellness committees.
*Providing staff development.
*Working with food administrators on Farm to School Program.
*Planning school gardens. - Data collecting for research and grant needs, and reporting.
