What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruitment & Student Engagement Coordinator, Senior (UPDATED) position at arizona?
- Develop and deliver weekly College of Science Information presentations & packets for prospective students & guests.
- Create virtual, professional profile, available for prospective students/families to address all issues related to college enrollment (major selection, financial aid, admissions policies, college prep/bridge opportunities, etc).
- Incorporate national recruitment data related to student/family priorities for in-person, social media/virtual recruitment initiatives.
- Create database of quarterly Recruitment Committee meetings goals, objectives and outcomes.
- Implements event management plan for College of Science Convocation (graduation) ceremonies (fall & spring) with minimal supervision from Director.
- Develop training protocols and goals for the Science Ambassador program.
- Create recruitment materials for Science Ambassador training (University and College wide).
- Develop comprehensive system to record, track and evaluate Science Ambassador program: nomination process, annual retreat, business meeting schedule, Ambassador virtual profiles/videos, event sign-up system, activity tracking, recognition of service & senior reflections.
- Develop system of scheduling, tracking & evaluating VIP Science Ambassador Dept/Lab tours with prospective students/guests.
- Create network and process with Admissions and Dept partners to implement, LARGE campus & college-wide recruitment events (New Student Welcome & Admitted Students Day).
- Supervise Student Assistant position and Science Ambassadors (25 science students).
- Create database and process to manage community, science outreach requests, to include an undergraduate science club directory (updated annually).
- Develop system to track and evaluate annual recruitment events (formal & informal).
- Other duties as assigned.
