What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Research Patient Recruiter position at Ark Clinical Research?
Duties:
· Identify and engage potential study participants through various channels, including but not limited to social media, community events, medical clinics, and patient databases.
· Assist in developing and implementing patient recruitment plans for multiple clinical trials in collaboration with the study team and sponsors.
· Perform patient recruitment activities both onsite and offsite for all enrolling studies.
· Help to develop and coordinate physician relationships, community outreach relationships and events.
· Pre-screen potential participants use pre-defined inclusion and exclusion criteria to determine their eligibility for specific clinical trials.
· Ability to professionally conduct patient interviews and medical history intakes, mainly over the phone and in person.
· Educate potential participants about the study's objectives, procedures, and potential risks and benefits in a clear and compassionate manner.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
· Build and maintain positive relationships with study participants, providing support and addressing any concerns or questions that may arise during the recruitment process.
· Collaborate with the clinical research team to ensure a seamless transition from recruitment to study participation.
· Stay informed about the latest patient recruitment trends, best practices, and technologies to optimize recruitment strategies.
· Comprehend and transition between numerous clinical trials at any given time.
· Demonstrate understanding of clinical trials and enrollment procedures within GCP (Good Clinical Practice) guidelines. Training on the job.
· Assist in strategizing and problem-solving to overcome enrollment obstacles.
· Additionally, there will be various administrative duties including, but not limited to, data entry, making copies, filing, and scanning documents.
· All other duties as required.

Education/Experience:
Four-year college degree preferred or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, or patient recruitment.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standard scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Bilingual in English/Vietnamese is ideal.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Sales Skills:
Ability to meet monthly enrollment goals and find new opportunities in community outreach and physician relations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft word processing software, Excel spreadsheet software, E-mail, and internet software.
