What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at ARKA GRILL COMPANY LLC?
Description of duties to include but not limited to the following:
- Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas.
- Load and unload dishwashing machines.
- Wash specific items by hand (cutting boards, pots and pans, and any delicate items, etc.).
- Store clean glassware, dishes, and equipment appropriately.
- Set-up workstations before food prep begins.
- Ensure dishwasher is drained and refreshed with clean water every 2 hours.
- Ensure there is always enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils especially during peak hours of business.
- Maintain a clean workstation and trash area.
- Ensure proper amounts of cleaning supplies are on hand to execute all chemical required functions.
- Check dishwashers for proper functionality every shift and report any malfunctions to management immediately.
- Remove garbage from kitchen areas on a regular basis.
- Regularly clean and sanitize dish counter and floors.
- Attend any department and / or food safety / alcohol safety meetings to keep compliance with company policies.
