What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Driver CL B Concrete Mixer position at Arkansas and Louisiana Aggregate?
Responsible for safe operation of concrete mixer truck to include driving the truck, concrete discharge, truck maintenance and housekeeping, assessment of delivery site conditions and troubleshooting as well as a range of manual labor as directed to support operations within a material yard. Position reports to the Yard Manager, and as directed. Must communicate and work well with material yard personnel as well as all personnel and customers. Experience with aggregates, concrete plants or mixers, or concrete pumping and placement is a plus. Compensation will be hourly. Compensation will be commensurate on experience. - Must possess one CL B Driver License with airbrake endorsement in good standing.
- Must be familiar with concrete mixer type straight trucks and possess confidence to safely operate such truck.
- Must have safe work history/experience.
- Willingness and ability to work hours required to meet the demands of the position and match potential schedules for customer needs is a must and may require nights and weekends.
- Ability to do manual labor, climbing, and etc in all conditions including inclement weather as is related to concrete mixer and material yard operations is required.
- Must possess excellent communication skills and work well with all applicable entities involved in the process at all times.
- Must be able to complete physical, drug screen process to include required Part 40 FMCSA requirements, and must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT health card.
