The Community Liaison/Marketer is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, referral sources, and community partners to drive patient referrals and promote The Doctor’s Choice Home Health and Hospice Services. This role involves outreach, education, and marketing efforts throughout assigned territories, with a focus on expanding market share and enhancing brand visibility.
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health and hospice agencies, assisted living communities, adult day centers, senior centers, and other community-based organizations.
- Respond to inquiries and concerns from clients and referral sources.
- Develop and negotiate service contracts with managed care organizations, government agencies, and other payers.
- Make regular outbound calls and respond to inbound inquiries from prospective clients seeking care services.
- Represent The Doctor’s Choice at networking events, health fairs, and other community engagements throughout Southern California.
- Conduct market research to understand competitor strategies and refine marketing tactics accordingly.
- Prospect and generate new referral relationships through consistent outreach and follow-up.
- Maintain and strengthen existing referral relationships through ongoing education and support.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal agency staff to ensure seamless referral intake and service line growth.
- Support Assistant Administrator and leadership team in business development initiatives.
- Promote service-line standardization and consistency across regions.
- Protect client and company confidentiality, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and internal policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in home health or caregiving agency setting.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in marketing, public relations, or community engagement.
- Proven success in relationship building, referral development, and territory management.
- Excellent public speaking, interpersonal, and writing skills.
- Knowledge of local community needs and healthcare resources.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to travel locally with reliable transportation
