This role is primarily client‑facing (approximately 75%), with the remaining 25% dedicated to supervising and supporting case management staff. The Case Manager Supervisor will maintain an active caseload while providing clinical, administrative, and professional oversight to assigned team members. This position is a direct report to senior leadership and plays a key role in ensuring high‑quality service delivery and staff performance.Key ResponsibilitiesClient‑Facing Duties (Approx. 75%)Maintain an active caseload and provide direct case management services to clientsComplete assessments, service plans, documentation, and referrals in accordance with agency, state, and funding requirementsCoordinate services with external providers, agencies, and community partnersAdvocate for clients and ensure timely access to appropriate resources and supportsMonitor client progress and outcomes, adjusting services as neededEnsure compliance with all documentation, reporting, and confidentiality standardsSupervisory Duties (Approx. 25%)Provide supervision, coaching, and support to assigned case management staffConduct regular check‑ins, case reviews, and performance feedbackAssist with onboarding and training of new case managersSupport staff with problem‑solving, crisis situations, and complex casesMonitor caseload distribution, productivity, and documentation qualityEnsure team compliance with agency policies, procedures, and best practicesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred)Minimum of 1-2 years of case management experiencePrior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferredKnowledge of case management practices, community resources, and service coordinationStrong communication, organization, and leadership skillsAbility to balance direct service delivery with supervisory responsibilitiesProficiency in electronic health records or case management systemsPreferred SkillsExperience supervising staff in a human services or behavioral health settingStrong documentation and time‑management skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating with leadershipExperience with compliance, audits, or quality assurance standards
