Job Description
We are seeking an experienced ICU-Stepdown Nurse for a fast-paced 36-bed unit that caters to a variety of high-acuity medical, surgical, trauma, cardiac, and stroke patients. The position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to manage diverse patient diagnoses.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to high-acuity patients in an ICU-Stepdown setting.
- Monitor and manage critical patient conditions effectively.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Utilize charting system (Cerner) for documentation and patient management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Minimum of 2 years of solid IMC experience is required; PCU experience will not be accepted.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are necessary.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required.
- Maryland Approved Trauma Certificate is required.
- Valid Maryland or Compact nursing license is required at the time of submission.
