**Job Title: Surgical Nurse - Days (10-Hour Shifts)**

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Surgical Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position is focused on providing exceptional patient care in a surgical setting, specifically within Orthopedic Spine, Robotics, and Trauma patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate surgeries, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain effective communication with all team members throughout the surgical process.
• Adhere to protocols and best practices for orthopedic spine, robotic, and trauma cases.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in surgical nursing, with expertise specifically in Orthopedic Spine, Robotics, and Trauma patients.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association is required.
• National certification in the area of specialty is preferred.
  
  

Schedule

• Shifts: 4/10 hour shifts each week (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM).
• Weekend Requirement: One weekend on-call per month, totaling 36 hours (24 hours on Saturday and 12 hours on Sunday).
  
  

Orientation Details

All new hires must complete a designated orientation schedule, which includes both virtual and in-person components. It is crucial to attend all sessions as failure to complete orientation may result in termination. Candidates will receive an email prior to the start date with specific instructions regarding orientation and other necessary preparations.
