- Follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Perform product inspections and conduct tests to ensure pass/fail criteria are met.
- Performs necessary assembly functions working from operation sheets, verbal instructions, samples, and blueprints.
- Selects the correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, standards, and hardware, to support the job.
- Uses various hand tools including basic measuring instruments, air tools, and riveting tools.
- Remove and/or replace installed components and any related parts.
- Assembling preformed sheet metal parts, using equipment such as drills, wrenches, high-pressure carts, screwdrivers, hammers, and any other equipment that will assist in the satisfactory performance of duties.
- Operation of equipment with personal safety and that of fellow employees in mind.
- Willingness to learn or train in the position.
- Must have the physical and mental stamina to stand, walk, lift, and adjust to the noise and lighting of the manufacturing environment.
- Other duties as assigned and not limited to just the above.
- Maintain inventory records and fulfill work orders.
- Ability to read blueprints/schematics preferred.
- Ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
