Arnot Health is seeking an experienced and dedicated Practice Manager to lead operations in our Gastroenterology Office. Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing daily administrative functions, supporting staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and helping to foster a positive and efficient patient experience. This role is a vital connection point between clinical staff, providers, and administration.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Administration:
- Serve as a key point of contact for operations across GI outpatient services
- Support recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and training of non-clinical staff
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback to staff
- Review and approve payroll, purchases, and time-off requests
- Collaborate with providers on workflow, performance metrics, and staffing needs
- Ensure all operations meet JCAHO, OSHA, and other applicable standards
- Conduct routine rounds to monitor compliance and implement corrective action plans
- Attend and contribute to administrative, quality improvement, and departmental meetings
- Maintain documentation related to inspections, safety, and medication storage
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with providers, staff, and leadership
- Act as liaison between GI office and other departments across Arnot Health
- Support integration and onboarding of new providers
- Address and resolve patient complaints and concerns professionally and promptly
- Monitor and respond to patient satisfaction data
- Implement process improvements to support positive patient outcomes and experiences
- Associate degree in management, business, or a related field preferred; high school diploma required
- Minimum of 1–3 years experience in a healthcare setting
- Previous management experience required
- Strong understanding of outpatient medical practice operations and finances
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems
- May require occasional after-hours availability for staffing concerns
- Some local travel between sites may be necessary
