We are delighted to be partnering a scale up operation who have seen their service offerings double over the past 18 months. The culture within the business is inclusive and diverse with a passion for innovation. They have recently upgraded all of their systems and tech stack implementing BI tools, data warehousing systems and a new ERP. As a result of expansion and further growth plans, the CFO is looking to hire an inquisitive and commercially focused Financial Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis.

The salary on offer is between $95,000 and $105,000 per annum plus benefits which includes 3% 401K match, healthcare plans (inc dental and vision), generous PTO and other company specific benefits (flexibility and hybrid working schedules).

The Financial Analyst will partner the CFO with all elements of the monthly close reporting, analysis and business partnering tasks. Key duties include:

• Completion of variance analysis and monitoring of KPI metric performance
• Creation of dashboards and visual reporting
• Meeting internal reporting requirements for ownership and board
• Partnering the CFO with the production of the financial statements
• Supporting with departmental and company wide budgeting and forecasting
• Optimizing company data and reporting capabilities through tech platforms
• Ad hoc reporting and scenario based analysis

To be considered for the Financial Analyst position, applicants MUST:

• Have at least 3 years experience in a similar position, particularly with analysis and reporting
• Embrace technology and change
• Have display a high level of commercial acumen
• Be able to understand, manipulate and articulate financial data/information
• Be a strong Excel user
• Be able to work onsite 5 days per week in Poughkeepsie for the first 6 months before hybrid working arrangements may be possible

This position is the first hire into the FP&A function of the organization who are looking to utilize and drive their data and reporting capabilities. Across the finance and accounting department there are a total of 21 individuals.

The position will be offered on a permanent basis and initially will be site based for a period of at least 6 months before a hybrid schedule will be considered.
