Task 1: Custom Laboratory Automation Application Development
- Design and develop new laboratory automation applications to support client research and calibration activities.
- Enhance and upgrade existing laboratory automation applications.
- Develop and revise technical documentation related to lab software systems.
- Maintain and support scientific computing software licenses used within laboratory environments.
- Serve as the primary developer for LabVIEW-based laboratory automation solutions.
- Develop and maintain applications using LabVIEW Release Automation Tools.
- Support deployment and lifecycle management of LabVIEW applications across multiple lab units.
- Ensure continued compatibility with laboratory instrumentation and control systems.
- Analyze laboratory system requirements and translate scientific needs into technical solutions.
- Assist researchers and software users in understanding system functionality.
- Provide development estimates, implementation strategies, and enhancement recommendations.
- Propose innovative solutions using modern software development techniques.
- Respond to ongoing support requests related to:
- Software installations
- Application issues
- Enhancements and configuration changes
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of software-related issues in lab environments.
- Provide clarification and updates to existing documentation as needed.
- Support activation, deactivation, transfer, and tracking of scientific computing software licenses.
