What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Cafeteria Assistant position at Aromas San Juan Unified School District?
This is an on-call substitute position to assist when employees are absent. The position can work at one of our three schools in the cafeteria assisting the food service staff.

Under supervision of the Food Services Manager, to prepare and serve foods in a school cafeteria or other assigned area, clean kitchen equipment and utensils, and do other work as required. All members of our staff are part of our learning community and, as such, share responsibility for the education and well-being of our students.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $14.58 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Employees and substitutes prove vaccination status or are tested bi-weekly.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- food service or similar: 1 year (Preferred)
