What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at Arpeggio?
We are looking for someone who has a very positive and happy personality, has restaurant experience and is detail oriented. 1 year of experience in a high volume restaurant is required. The personal touch is what has made us so successful, so you need to make creating a great customer experience. You must be team player and enjoy working with others. Maintaining a positive work environment is key. You would need to be comfortable with technology. Hours are 4 days a week. We offer health insurance and dental insurance for anyone who works at least 30 hours. NO DRUG NO DRINKING ENVIRONMENT
Job Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Reservations and scheduling parties
- Employee scheduling for 35-40 FOH employees
- Some ordering of FOH products
- You will be responsible for voids and comps.
- You will need to learn each job in the restaurant and fill in when we are short staffed
- Checking to make sure all side work is done at the start and end of shift
- Make sure the restaurant is clean. Safety is a priority
- Help control labor costs by sending staff home when they are not needed
- increase efficiency and productiveness of staff with great training protocols
- Helping the staff and filling in all positions when needed including expo, running and take out
- Closing the restaurant at the end of the day.
