Responsibilities
- Owning specific expense lines, including trends and internal allocations, to ensure accurate accounting of costs across front office, back office, and technology teams
- Working with various teams to produce journal entries, recurring audit support, and financial statement footnotes
- Optimizing reporting of expenses and continually driving efficiencies in the process
- Actively participating in the roll out of enhanced applications to provide additional cost transparency
- Substantiating various GL accounts with detailed reconciliations and analysis
- Documenting and communicating variances requiring explanation
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- CPA a plus
- 5 years of experience in public accounting
- Experience performing monthly close procedures under tight deadlines
- Experience with Alteryx a plus
- Experience improving processes and working on projects designed to improve efficiencies
