Salary Range: $22.57 - $22.57 Hourly
Job Shift: 1st Shift
Job Summary:
This position will assist in the successful fabrication of Arrowhead Products Ball Joint products. It is a combination of the following jobs(s) Bellow Fabricator Trainee and Burn Down Operator.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Set-up and operation of planish welds, burn down machine, material identity stamp machine, trim machines, rolling machines, seam welder, spot welder and all other machinery necessary for successful Ball Joint Fabrication.
Set-up, light maintenance (such as tightening bolts, cleaning the machine, etc.) and operation of all bellows/ball joint fabrication machinery and equipment with minimal or no assitance.
Must be capable of performing simple and repetitive operations such as telescoping.
Will be familiar with the Arrowhead materials and Ply’s identity code.
Will read, identify, record from blueprints, pick lists, and x-ray numbers for traceability documentation per job requirement.
Responsible for assisting the department in the development of techniques to increase productivity, quality, and throughput of products and to share job knowledge in the department.
Will maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, FOD-free fashion and adhere to all Safety standards.

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent; previous manufacturing experience may be substituted for education requirement.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Demonstrate familiarity and proficiency with all machinery and equipment pertaining to bellows and ball joint fabrication and spring rating.
Ability to interpret blueprints, work orders and production planing documents.
Ability to use standard manufacturing measuring instruments such as calipers, pi tape, micrometers, scales, height gauges, depth gauges, etc.
Must be capable of working with tight tolerances such as or - .001”.
Must be familiar with material and ply identity codes.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; including production control and other production/engineering documentation.
