Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Vienna, IL
Area of Focus: Administrative Department
Immediate Supervisor for Receptionist: Administrative Assistant
Hours of Work for Receptionist: Part-time 24 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications for Receptionist: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Skills & Knowledge for Receptionist: Typing/word processing, computer ability with standard programs and databases, filing, spelling, decision-making, problem-solving, receptionist skills, organization and planning, self-motivation, time management, and the ability to work without close supervision. Must have well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask, manage stressful situations, and maintain a professional demeanor. Excellent communication skills are required.
Special Requirements for Receptionist: Maintain and provide proof of a valid driver's license; maintain and provide proof of personal vehicle liability insurance; at least 21 years of age; must complete required registry clearances and criminal fingerprint background checks; maintains CPR & First Aid training requirements.
Receptionist Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greets the public in a manner which reflects a professional and positive agency image daily.
- Accurately receives records and relays messages according to agency guidelines daily.
- Answers/transfers Arrowleaf phones in a manner which reflects a professional and positive agency image daily while accurately recording / relaying messages to appropriate staff.
- Accepts consumer payment and prepares a payment record or receipt (depending on payment type), secures monies and payment records/receipts.
- Maintains reception area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Completes monthly clinic/office and assigned residential supply ordering, shopping, and delivery within assigned budget per site.
- Responsible for printing and distributing monthly client statements.
- Types, files and analyzes agency related correspondence and other documentation daily.
- Maintains adequate supply of brochures/handbooks in lobby.
- Scans various documentation into Electronic Health Systems in a timely and accurate manner
