We are currently looking for part-time, experienced Banquet Bartenders to add to our Banquets & Catering team.
Hours:
Various shifts on an as-needed basis, but must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is a part-time position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Take beverage orders from guests and servers, present drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages.
- Accurately inventory banquet bars at the beginning and end of your shift, prepare garnishes for drinks and assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
- Must be able to maintain proper inventory and pour counts at all times.
- Accept guest payment and make change (if applicable) and use proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion.
- Restock, clean and organize liquor room at all times recording and following proper transfer procedures for all liquor inventories.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
- Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to Banquet Captain or Catering Sales Manager.
- Work effectively and efficiently with the banquet team, arriving at your scheduled start time in appropriate uniform ready to work.
- Communicate any challenges or customer requests with the Banquet Captain or Catering Sales Manager.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience bartending in a similar capacity.
- Must have knowledge of Spirits, Wine and Food
- Must possess good attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
- Must have basic math skills
- Must be 21 years of age and possess Tips and Food Handlers cards
