Urgent Care/General Practice/Surgery - Choose your own adventure!
We are Philly’s largest non-corporate practice. Our doors opened 5 years ago, and after some major expansion we’re looking to round out our team! We have two buildings which allow us to operate both as a Wellness General Practice and an Urgent Care and Surgery Center. Our 12 doctor practice is looking for someone interested in a mixed schedule, but we try to accommodate preferences between our departments.
Having a separate Wellness building allows us to avoid overbooking appointments, since our Urgent Care team is dedicated to managing the walk-ins and same day sick visits. This leaves time during Wellness shifts for client relationship building, as well as an environment more conducive to managing patient anxiety.
Ideal candidates would have a strong interest in Urgent Care and Surgery. Our surgical caseload is an even mixture of soft tissue and dentistry, with some emergency/add-on surgeries mixed in each week. Our doctors all work well together as a team and support each other. Depending on the candidate, there may be an opportunity for mentorship. Learning new skills is encouraged!
We strive to provide the best quality care possible, and also value work-life balance for our staff. Our hospital offers scheduled appointments and Urgent Care visits 7 days a week, and has scheduled surgery 5 days a week. We are not open overnight as we are an outpatient Urgent Care facility.
We have an excellent team of technicians and CSRs with a very high support staff to doctor ratio to enable our clinicians to work efficiently. We meet with staff regularly to help discuss how things are going and what we could change or do better.
