Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) develops educational opportunities for many of the most eager students in the world. Since 2003, we have trained tens of thousands of the country's top students, including nearly all the members of the US International Math Olympiad team, through our online school, learning centers, textbooks, and online learning systems. Over the years, our international online community of advanced problem solvers has grown to over 800,000 members. While our primary focus has been math for most of our history, we have started expanding into new subjects, such as language arts, science, and computer science.
AoPS Academy is an after-school academic math and language arts training academy for high-performing students. AoPS Academy is a part of Art of Problem Solving (aops.com), a company developing educational opportunities for many of the most eager students in the world through an online school, book series, and on-ground learning centers. Art of Problem Solving is on the forefront of advanced math education, and we value giving our students the best education possible.
We're seeking an enthusiastic support staff member to help us with a few of the daily operations that keep the Academy running smoothly. As a Campus Facilities Assistant, your biggest task is to help ensure student safety by managing traffic during the arrival and dismissal of classes.
Responsibilities
- Manage traffic in the parking lot
- Light campus cleaning
- Assist with daily operations of the campus
- Reset classroom furniture at the end of the day
- Troubleshoot minor malfunctions with computers and other office equipment
- Occasionally assist with campus in-reach and outreach activities
- Other duties as assigned
Additional qualifications include:
- Reliable transportation
- Customer service experience
- Time management skills
- Ability to lift 35 pounds
- Experience with basic computer usage

This is a part-time position requiring roughly 10-15 hours of work per week. Additional shifts may be available. Our academy is open 7 days a week, with weekday classes in the late afternoon/evening, and weekend classes throughout the day.
Specific working hours for this position may change during the summer to accommodate for our camp schedule.
