What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interior Decorator / Sales Associate position at Artee Fabrics and Home?
Our busy Home Decor/Fabric store is seeking a sales associate/ store manager who enjoys working with customers. The associate will assist customers by providing customer recommendations,answering questions, calculating yardages, cutting yardages, visiting customers in home when necessary to close a sale,and up selling through our extensive lines of home decor items. We offer full service solutions for all your decor needs.
The responsibilities will include:
Maintaining store displays.
Maintaining stock levels.
Greeting customers as they enter and helping them make selections.
Developing solutions for customers by listening to their needs and recommending the appropriate products we offer.
Utilize the company's POS system to cash out customers.
Sales Associates Skills:
Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
Excellent math skills.
Customer service skills.
Knowledge of calculating for Custom Work (draperies,upholstery,bedding, and more)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work Saturdays.
Must have reliable transportation.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
